Vail, Colorado

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Jackson Hole is the only ski resort in Wyoming that is independently owned by the Kemmerer Family. This resort has the longest continuous vertical rise of any ski area in the U.S. rising 4,139 feet from the valley floor to the top of the mountain. Activities besides skiing include snowshoeing, Heli and cat skiing, snowmobiling and more.

Big Sky, Montana

Big Sky provides 5,850 skiable acres along with 38 lifts of 4,350 vertical feet. Looking for a place to ski? Big Sky provides an adventure and nature zipline. Along with that, be a part of a mystery activity. Escape Room is one of the many activities any one can do at this ski resort. Are you a dog lover? Come to Big Sky and enjoy dog sledding.

Mammoth Mountain, California

Planning a getaway with your family and kids? Mammoth Mountain is kid-friendly and allows children ages four and under to ski for free. There are also group lessons for age groups between three and twelve. Families and their children can have fun together going down the mountain in Mammoth’s high-speed-tubes.

Sun Valley, Idaho

Idaho’s Sun Valley Ski Resort provides various winter sports to all staying at the resort. Snow Sports School helps teach visitors proper techniques and lessons in skiing. Looking for a night of relaxation? Stop by the Opera House or theater that seats 340 people. With unique lodges and houses, Sun Valley will give each and everyone a fun experience in the winter or the summer.

Telluride, Colorado

With over 2,000 skiable acres and an average snowfall of about 280 inches a year, Telluride has ideal skiing conditions in order to complete it’s vertical drop of 4,425 feet. Telluride also provides their guests with guided ice climbing, kids winter camps, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, heli-skiing, and many other activities.

Alyeska is the third largest state park in the United States. It is approximately 495,000 acres and boasts an average of 650 inches of annual snowfall. Alyeska also provides trail systems for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding.

Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada

Boasting North America’s greatest vertical at 1,713 meters or 5,620 ft, Revelstoke Resort offers 3,121 acres of fall line skiing, high alpine bowls and enough space for various other winter activities.

Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Canada

4,200 skiable acres are filled with unique layouts for beginner, intermediate and expert runs. The family-friendly resorts provide childcare from as young as 18 days to 6 years.

Blackcomb/Whistler, British Columbia, Canada
