Lead Sports Summit: Educating And Empowering Young Female Athletes
In 2017, Kara Lynn Joyce founded Leads Sports Co. with the goal of connecting female athletes with accomplished, strong women in sports through yearly summits and online courses.
An accomplished professional athlete herself (three-time Olympic swimmer, having competed in 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympics for Team USA), Joyce and her organization carry the mission of supporting girls and women in realizing their goals and their strengths as students, athletes, daughters, and leaders.
Since 2020, Lead Sports has become a platform in service to women’s swimming and softball through annual summits, and all sports for young women through its academy. As mentioned, Lead Sports continues to educate and empower hundreds of women through its Lead Summit and Academy, with courses like leadership, nutrition, confidence, mental health, and more, all geared to developing young female athletes. At the annual summit, participants have the opportunity to listen to keynote speakers and seminars from some of the best swimmers in the sport, learn from experts and specialists, and participate in experiential learning and team-building activities.
The Lead Sports Summitt is perfect for overall personal growth and development for young athletes. This summit is also an opportunity for athletes to be inspired by those who have come before them and are still performing at their peak.
